TERMS OF USE — Edel Earth™ Ethics

1. Services
Edel Earth™ Ethics provides independent, document-based analysis memos focused on ethics, stakeholder exposure, and governance signals.
All services are advisory only — they are not legal advice and not a formal audit. Deliverables are based solely on materials submitted by the client and/or publicly available information identified during the engagement. All services use the Edel Earth™ Ethics Framework, a proprietary method that maps exposure across claims, governance signals, and stakeholder harm pathways.
2. Engagement Process
- Scope, timeline, and fixed fee are confirmed in writing before work begins.
- Deliverables are provided by email in PDF and/or DOCX format.
- One asynchronous clarification round is included unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Fees, Payment, and Refunds
- All fees are fixed and payable 100% upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- A full refund may be requested prior to the start of work.
- Once work has begun (materials received and analysis started), fees are non-refundable due to reserved time and capacity.
4. Delivery
Timelines are confirmed during scoping. For rapid engagements (e.g., 72-hour delivery), the timeline begins once both payment and materials are received. Delays / force majeure: Delivery timelines may be extended for events outside our reasonable control (e.g., service outages, technical failures, or force majeure events). If this occurs, we will notify you by email and propose a revised delivery time.
5. Client Responsibilities
By engaging our services, you affirm that:
- You have the rights to submit all materials.
- The materials are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You are responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on the analysis.
6. Confidentiality and Use Restrictions
- All deliverables are confidential and intended for internal use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Deliverables may not be published, excerpted, distributed, or used in marketing/PR/external channels without written permission.
- If a client discloses deliverables without permission, Edel Earth™ Ethics is not liable for third-party use resulting from that disclosure.
7. Payment Processing
Payments are processed via Stripe and/or bank transfer. Edel Earth™ Ethics does not store full card or banking details.
8. Intellectual Property
- Edel Earth™ Ethics retains full rights to its proprietary frameworks, templates, and review structures.
- Clients retain ownership of their original materials and receive a non-transferable internal-use license for deliverables.
