FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this for?

Edel Earth™ Ethics is for founders, boards, and teams with public exposure who need an independent review of claims, ethics posture, and stakeholder-risk—especially in AI, finance, sustainability, animal welfare, climate, consumer brands, and digital products.

What problems does this solve?

  • Overclaims, implied guarantees, and ambiguity that can trigger backlash or scrutiny
  • Gaps between public language and operational reality
  • Missing disclosures, qualifiers, or evidence that increase exposure
  • Governance and policy signals that undermine trust even when intentions are good

What will be delivered?

A written decision memo (PDF/DOC) including a Claim–Support–Exposure Register:

  • severity-ranked exposure points
  • why each matters (stakeholder / reputational / regulatory angle)
  • rewrite-ready corrections (no spin)
  • structural mitigations and sequencing (“do first” list)

What is needed to start?

Usually:

  • links to the public surfaces to review (site pages, deck section, policy pages, product copy)
  • any relevant policies or standards documents
  • optional internal materials (SOPs, sourcing/impact evidence, incident handling)
A single folder link is ideal.

How long does it take?

  • Tier 1 ($5,000 fixed): rapid delivery for the Ethics & Exposure Scan (typically 72 hours after payment + materials)
  • Larger reviews: timing is confirmed in writing at scope lock (typically 5–10 business days or as agreed)

How does scoping work?

Scope is locked in writing before payment is accepted. This prevents “scope creep” and ensures a fixed-fee engagement stays fixed-fee.

Is this legal or regulatory advice?

No. Edel Earth™ Ethics provides independent analysis and language-risk review, not legal representation or regulatory counsel.

Is it confidential?

Yes. Deliverables are confidential and intended for internal use unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

Does Edel Earth write PR or marketing copy?

No PR spin. Where wording changes are recommended, they are risk-minimizing corrections tied to support and exposure—designed to reduce misinterpretation and overclaim risk.

Are calls required?

No. The work runs asynchronously by email. A single clarification round is included in writing (focused questions only).

Can an engagement be declined?

Yes. Work is declined when the goal is to justify deception, exploitation, or performative ethics.
